Thanksgiving baskets Bags

Each year the family at the Rockville Church of Chrsit supports an effort to give back to our community, in cooperation with the City of Rockville by preparing Thanksgiving Baskets.  These Baskets are distrubted to those in the community that may not be able to be with family, and those that are less fortunate.

Agape Bags

Each Agape Bag contains many items needed for everyday use. As we collect items and fill these bags, members of our congregation hand them out to those in need around our community.

Each Agape Bag will contain a hand-written invitation to worship and:

• (1) Jar of peanut butter
• (1) Box of Ritz crackers
• (1) Bag of beef jerky
• (1) Bag of dried fruit
• (1) Can of mixed nuts
• (1) Toothbrush
• (1) Tube of toothpaste
• (1) Stick of deodorant
• (1) Bible
• Church information

Warm months:

• (1) Bottle of lotion
• (1) Bottle of sunblock

Cold months:

• (1) Stocking cap
• (1) Pair of gloves
• (1) Pair of wool socks

Vacation Bible School

The 2016 Vacation Bible School was a huge success! Over 30 forms were returned requesting either prayer or to start a Bible Correspondence Course. We also collected several other contacts for future dialog about faith.

A big thank you to the Roebuck Parkway group for their hours of work they poured into evangelism, service, and the VBS with us at the Rockville church. Thank you too to the members of the Rockville church. It would not have been possible without the countless hours in the work days getting the building ready, helping get the word out, cooking to provide food for the goup, and so much more.

We only scratched the surface of getting the Gospel message out this week, but God has already shown us a lot of open doors. Continue to pray for these opportunities.
